You must’ve heard about Paranormal Activity, everyone’s been talking about it, couples, parents, teens, and adults.  This movie may be the most scariest horror movie since The Exorcist.  Around 10 years ago, moviegoers were scared out of their minds by The Exorcist and The Blair Witch Project.  Do you really think there can be anything more terrifying than those two other movies?  Answer to that question, is YES.

A little more about: The Blair Witch Project.

Film students, Heather Donahue, Michael Williams and Joshua Leonard set out to produce a documentary about the fabled Blair Witch. The three of them travel to Burkittsville, Maryland and interview locals around that area about the legend of the Blair Witch.  Two of the locals tell them of a hermit whose name was Rustin Parr who kidnapped seven children in his house in the woods from 1940 to 1941.  Parr brought the children into his basement in pairs, killing one child at a time while one stood there with their face toward the corner.  He would then kill the child in the corner.  Rustin eventually turned himself into the police.  Later with insanity, he tells the police that the spirit of a witch killed in the 18th century convinced Parr to kill those seven innocent children.  The three students also interview Mary Brown, an older woman who tells them, she had an encounter with the Blair Witch as a young girl. The rest of the story goes on about how, Heather, Michael and Joshua also has an encounter from the Blair Witch’s spirit.

A little more about: The Exorcist.

The Exorcist is based on a novel by William Peter Blatty. Something BEYOND evil is happening in a little girl’s room.  Regan, has brutally changed both, the way she looks and acts.  She very often has violent outbursts on everyone who comes in contact with her.  Her mother is extremely worried and afraid, so she gets in contact with a priest who comes to a conclusion that Regan is possessed.  The top priest who can deal with exorcism is called in, Father Merrin, who can help same Regan from the evil demon inside her.  Many obstacles come ahead for the exorcist.

Probably just reading the summaries above make you afraid.  Well, Paranormal Activity will also be as scary as these two movies, maybe in some points of view, SCARIER.  The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity are shot in documentary style (but are scripted), which makes it seem real and much more scary and horror filled.  In Paranormal Activity, the movie concerns a couple who may have a poltergeist in their home, who comes out at night when your sleeping, or when your trying to. The couple are very dubious about it at first, but quickly change their minds after certain things start happening.  Do you think they’ll find out too late and not be able to save themselves? Probably.
